A rare Salesman sample jug dating from the late 1800’s with a gorgeous blue , gilt and pink painted design incorporating a swallow . A really wonderful piece , these flat jugs were used to showcase shapes and designs for full size jugs and bowls and are so hard to find . This is a lovely colourful example .
