I’ve always loved this particular version of ‘Happy Families’, this is a full pack (12 families , 4 in each ) made by John Jaques & Son, “consisting of 48 cards of Grotesque characters, beautifully printed in colours”. 
Grotesque sums them up perfectly , as a child I loved these big headed often angry little looking people ! 
Cards in good condition, box is shabby , original instruction paper.
