With a registration number dating it to 1895 this is a great, early, articulated brass Pullman lamp. 
The three cleverly placed hooks allow it to be adjusted and used as either a table lamp, a wall light or to hang on a bedstead! 
Fantastic patination to the brass, a really super piece.
