With a naïve painting of The Château d'If on the lid, this is a wonderful little bark box. 
Made from a hollowed out branch, the top and bottom have matching bark contours and there is a little padded section to the lid. 
A lovely piece of folk art with perhaps a nod to Alexandre Dumas’s, The Count of Monte Christo.
